Question :
How do I make a reservation?
Answer:
Our reservation line, 1.705-444-0424, has reservation specialists available seven days a week from 9am to 7pm (E.S.T.) In addition, our online booking is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you do make a reservation online a vacation specialist will contact you so as to assist in finalizing your rental within. The reservation is not final until you return your completed rental agreement that shall be issued to you after we receive your verbal request for the blank rental agreement or you have made an online reservation and have returned the completed rental agreement that you will be supplied with.. Once approved and you have received your final email of reservation confirmation the reservation itself shall be subject to all terms, conditions and policies.

Question :
What is your payment policy?
Answer :
A deposit of 50% of the total price is required for all reservations due upon the submission of your signed rental agreement, provided your agreement submission date is greater than thirty days away from your check-in date. Your final payment would then be due 30 days prior to your check-in date. If you're agreement submission date is inside of thirty days from your check-in date then 100% of the payment is due at the time you submit your agreement. Mark your calendar for payment dates as no reminders will be sent out. Reservations and the associated payments are all subject to the cancellation terms as are specified within your rental agreement terms and condition and policies.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Answer :
Cancelations sometimes must occur. Cancelations will be handled in accordance with our policies as stated both on our website and as per detailed within our rental agreements. The recommendation is that you contact the reservation specialists at VisitBlueMountain either by phone or via email as soon as the possibility of a cancelation exists.

Are refunds available in the case of inclement weather?
Answer :
No refunds will be given for cancellation or interruption due to weather. Travel insurance is available for a fee and you will need to contact an independent provider of travel insurances to seek advice.

Question :
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Answer :
Check-in time is 4:00pm - 7:00pm. Check-out time is by 11:00am. You as the rental guest must agree to schedule around these stated times. We ask that you or your guests do not go to the property before checking in with our office. If cars or people are seen at the property, it will delay its cleaning and inspection, and thereby, delay the check-in time.
The details of the check-in and check-out process shall be supplied to you after you have completed your rental agreement submission and the property rental process.

Can we make advance reservations?
Answer :
All reservations are handled on a first come first basis based solely on when completed rental agreements are received within our office.

Question :
Is there a charge for extra keys and/or magnetic swipe cards?
Answer :
You will be provided with a sufficient number of keys to your rental property. A re-key charge will be collected for lost or unreturned keys.

Question :
Who is responsible for damage to the rental property?
Answer :
It is our policy to conduct a property pre-inspection prior to your check-in with VisitBlueMountain. If any damages or flaws are identified during the process of pre-inspection those are recorded. Once you arrive at the property you would have been instructed at the time of check-in to study the property yourself and advise us within two hours of your arrival of any items and/or issues that cause you concern. Any damages either not noted on VBM's pre-inspection, not noted by the renter during that two hour initial window of opportunity and clearly caused by the occupant renter shall be come the sole financial responsibility of the rental guest. You agree to indemnify VisitBlueMountain and/or the property owner for any damages to the rental property, including damages to structure, furnishings and household items, components of exterior landscaping and any component of the property that the renter has access too or contact with. Furthermore the sole responsibility for the condition of the property, resulting from occupancy, is born by the renter and/or the renter's guests and damages do exclude normal wear and tear. In the event that damages result from a guest's occupancy, Agent is authorized to utilize the "Security and Damage Deposit" to reimburse VBM and/or the Owner for said damages and this financial liability and the mechanism of reimbursement does extend to the credit card on file related to the applicable agreement.
VisitBlueMountain, its ownership, staff or heirs and assigns nor the Property Owner will not be liable for any damages to property nor liable for any accident that may occur to you during your rental occupancy in or on the property. VisitBlueMountain staff or contractors and/or the Property Owner may enter property at a reasonable time for the purpose of enforcing policies and/or making repairs. VisitBlueMountain nor the Property Owner are responsible for articles left on the property or its grounds.

Are telephones available?
Answer :
Phones are available in some units and not available in others Where they exist they are for making emergency or local calls only. Long distance calls must be made collect or charged to a credit or calling card.

What about housekeeping services?
Answer :
Homes and villas are cleaned before your arrival and after your departure. Daily maid service or interim cleaning is available at an additional charge on a per request basis and must be arranged at least 72 hours in advance of your check-in date..
Who supplies linens?
The requirement or non requirement for linens is spelled out with the website on each property page and also within each rental agreement.

What supplies are included in the rental?
Answer :
For your convenience and enjoyment all of our properties are fully equipped with kitchenware and supplies for the preparing of those memorable vacation meals as well as paper towels, soap, tissues and toilet paper, garbage bags, cleaning supplies. Coffee filters and all that is required to ensure an enjoyable experience here in The Blue Mountains.

You will need food and beverages, bed linens, towels and pillow cases if it is your decision to supply your own as well as any other equipment or item you feel you will need as part of your planned trip or vacation.

What types of vehicles are not allowed?

Please be aware vehicles such as RV's, boats, Campers or larger vehicles should didtate that you would need pre-approval. This is more a function of parking constraints that any other reason so please do ask prior to your arrival.

BBQ'ing is permitted and is in fact encouraged ! We do strongly recommend that you read the amenities and features lists on our website to be sure your rental property offers a BBQ. We do supply the propane at no additional charge.

What about house parties or noise complaints?
Answer :
We operate under a strict set of guidelines and policies both those that are our standard practice at VisitBlueMountain and this is in addition to those By-laws that exist both in our community that do not differ from the By-laws in-force within your community. You will be required to sign waivers and other documents that address your conduct and practices while in our properties.

No we do not accept cheques. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and interact funds transfers and cash.

Certain properties do allow pets and certain ones do not. We do strongly recommend that you read the amenities and features lists on our website to be sure your rental property accepts pets.

Sales
Some of the houses we manage may be available for sale during your stay. If you are staying in a property that is for sale, every effort will be made to schedule showings outside of the dates and times of your occupancy so as not to intrude on your vacation. Should a request be made to see the property during your stay, you will be contacted in advance by our management staff.
